    Certified Teacher Application Requirements:

    Must be eligible for a South Carolina Teaching Certificate at https://ed.sc.gov/educators/teaching-in-south-carolina/

             * new graduates -reference from cooperating teacher & supervising professor 
              *experienced teachers - reference from most recent supervisor 

    OCSD requires a negative Turberculosis Test Result before employment begins.
    • Negative TB test result less than 1 year old - upload if available or upload statement will provide at new hire orientation.   
    • Current OCSD employees may upload this statement - "I am currently employed with OCSD. TB Test is on file."
    • TB Test result must be submitted at new hire orientation (no exceptions).
