Duties

You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional, scientific or technical work such as engineering projects, systems, processes, equipment, devices and material or methods.,You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work that is focused on space, time, matter, and energy in the areas of sound, optics, heat, and radiation.,You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work focused on the design, development and adaptation of mathematical, statistical, and other scientific methods and techniques to analyze problems.,You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work such as application of, or research into computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information by means of computer systems.,You will oversee maintenance and safeguarding of information required to respond to organizational queries, division reviews, and emergencies.,You will develop, establish, maintain, and communicate division policies and processes for staffing, facilities, security, IT, and other administrative activities.

Qualifications

NM-05: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead process improvement activities; establish metrics for use in the management and direction of programs; analyze and evaluate proposed changes in policies and procedures. NM-04: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Support process improvement activities; collect and analyze data for use in the management and direction of programs; implement established policies and procedures. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. The pay schedule and pay band for all Administrative Specialist/Professional Positions will be NM-1/2/3/4/5/6. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
