Bethany Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an 8th Grade Science Teacher. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum objectives.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and promotes student participation.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Provide timely feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and science advancements.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
- Valid OKLAHOMA teaching certification for middle school science.
- Strong understanding of 8th-grade science curriculum and state educational standards.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
