Responsibilities

You Can Expect:
 

  • Competitive Compensation+Sign On+ Goals Based Incentives
     
  • Vacation: 5.5 weeks
     
  • Schedule: In hospital 12 hr/shifts, 13 shifts/mth
     
  • Practice at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, Level II Trauma Center with 358 licensed beds
     
  • Dedicated team of 5 acute care surgeons, 11 general surgeons total
     
  • ACS members - 80% bread and butter, 20% Trauma (90% of Trauma is blunt, 10% penetrating)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
 

  • Completion of medical degree and residency training in an general surgery.
     
  • MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
