Curriculum Leader:

• To be a positive role model and leader

• Must have sound curriculum knowledge, effective pedagogy and be enthusiastic, motivated and innovative with a demonstrated willingness to accept challenges in a positive manner

• To be an effective communicator and collaborator with other teachers, school leaders, parents and students

• Attend and actively participate in all curriculum leader meetings with building leaders to contribute toward achievement of school-wide goals

• Facilitate grade level meetings and vertical team meetings around curriculum

• Collaborate with building leadership with development of presentations for faculty meetings and curriculum meetings

• Collaborate with building leadership to support testing administration (NYS assessment and Investigations), as well as, developing common assessments and scoring procedures for unit assessments

• Collaborate with building leadership to develop budget for respective department

• To assume other responsibilities as determined by the administration

As a stipend position, work will need to be done outside of contractual hours
