As a member of the Guest Services Team, the Guest Services Assistant is responsible for acquiring and implementing the skills and language programs as provided by Tahoe Mountain Club’s Training Program. It is the responsibility of the Guest Services Assistant to assume the exceptional presentation of all physical properties related to operations (i.e. golf carts, practice balls and facilities, cart storage, and any other related equipment used to perform daily operations).
Responsibilities
- Must poses basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures.
- Retrieve golf carts on request.
- Load and unload golf bags in/out of vehicles.
- Inform Members of any unusual conditions that exist on the course.
- Communicate with other Outside Service Staff to ensure that all players tee off at their scheduled times.
- Greet members at end of round, record finish time and reports it to the Golf Shop.
- Clean golf clubs and maintain golf carts and cart barn area. May carry out starting and marshalling duties.
- Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or 2 years’ experience in related environment
- Maintain effective communication between all staff members in regards to course operations and human resource issues
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
