Customer Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust software and integration solutions under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
  • Participate in systems integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
  • Create and maintain system design specifications, flowcharts, and process swimlanes.
  • Develop and consume APIs to enable communication between internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to gather requirements, share progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical mindset with a foundational understanding of software engineering concepts (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing, distributed system debugging).
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices and tools such as Git/GitHub, code reviews, static analysis tools (ESLint, SonarQube), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with JavaScript/Node.js.
  • Successful completion of in-person IAL3-compliant identity proofing (requires necessary identification documents).
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for customer or onsite company meetings (approximately 1–2 times per year).
  • Ability to work remotely within the continental United States from an Eastern or Central time zone (excluding New York).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Golang (self-study is acceptable).
  • Experience with systems integration and familiarity with integration patterns and methodologies.
  • Prior experience with healthcare appointment scheduling workflows and/or EMRs.
  • Experience using Jira for project management.
  • Understanding of Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
