MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols.
- Ensure proper patient setup, coil positioning, and accurate delivery of treatment parameters.
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and response throughout all treatment sessions.
- Perform or assist in motor threshold determination in accordance with established protocols and clinical guidance.
- Assist in or conduct TMS mapping procedures to ensure accurate treatment targeting.
- Accurately document all treatment sessions, including parameters, patient response, and any adverse events.
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, including contraindication screening and risk management procedures.
- Educate patients on TMS procedures, expectations, and safety considerations.
- Establish rapport with patients to support engagement, comfort, and treatment adherence.
- Maintain treatment schedules and ensure efficient patient flow and session completion.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and medical staff regarding patient progress, concerns, or changes in status.
- Maintain and troubleshoot TMS equipment, including routine calibration checks and reporting of technical issues.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the TMS treatment suite at all times.
- Assist with tracking program metrics, including attendance, completion rates, and patient progress.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on TMS operations and patient care.
- Collaborate with leadership to support program growth, efficiency, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, regulatory standards, and clinical protocols.
- Complete all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Participate in continuing education and training related to TMS and neuromodulation practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to maintain focus during repetitive treatment sessions.
- Must be able to respond quickly in the event of patient discomfort or adverse reaction.
- Must be able to work flexible hours based on patient scheduling needs.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a clinical, behavioral health, or medical setting is preferred.
- Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is preferred.
- Familiarity with MagVenture TMS systems and equipment is preferred.
- Experience performing or assisting with TMS mapping and motor threshold determination is preferred.
- Experience in substance use or mental health treatment settings is preferred.
- If in recovery, two years of uninterrupted sobriety preferred.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skill.
- Must be able to establish rapport with patients and patient’s family members.
- Must be educated in and familiar with scientific methods.
- Must be computer literate and able to work with Microsoft® applications and clinically relevant software programs.
- Must possess the willingness and capacity for growth, both personally and professionally.
- Must possess high degree of professionalism and treat sensitive clinical information ethically.
