Job Title: Recreation Aide (Full Time, Bilingual Preferred)

Schedule: Full Time 

Overview:
Kings Harbor Multicare Center seeks a creative, energetic Recreation Aide to engage our residents in activities. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience working with residents diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Recreation students are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Inform residents of daily leisure options and encourage participation.
• Escort residents to on- and off-unit programs, assisting with mobility as needed.
• Lead group and individual activities, including visits with isolated or room-bound residents.
• Provide reassurance, emotional support, and encourage social interaction.
• Offer sensory and environmental stimulation tailored to residents’ needs.
• Maintain department materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Represent the department professionally, treating residents, families, caregivers, and staff with respect.

Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
