We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our vibrant office in California, Maryland. In this dynamic, 100% onsite role, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring everything flows seamlessly and our team is supported every step of the way. Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to senior staff, and other staff as directed, in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment. This will require the use and knowledge of applications such as, but not limited to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Ensure all visitors sign in and are issued a badge. Maintain visitor badge tracker.
· Answer all phone calls- screen and direct calls accordingly.
· Maintain multiple conference room calendars as well as provide resources needed for meeting to take place.
· Coordinate shipping logistics and package deliveries.
· Provide assistance to event planning.
· Purchase and maintain inventory of office supplies and snacks for multiple office locations. This will require the use and understanding of online ordering through our databases and sources.
· Other supplies may be needed for on-site conferences, meetings, etc.
· Work closely with Building Manager, Engineer, and Security to maintain a safe and efficient workable space.
· Support the recruitment process as needed.
· Attend meetings accordingly.
· Maintain a welcoming, comfortable, organized environment for employees and visitors.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience may be able to substitute for degree.
· At least five (5) or more years of experience in a professional office environment or customer service preferred.
· Ability to hold an active Secret clearance.
· Ability to interact effectively and professionally with people at all levels of the organization.
· Effective communication skills.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
· Able to work independently.
· Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
· Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Previously provided administrative support in a government contractor setting preferred.
