Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend appropriate diet and texture modifications

• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies

• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals

• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies
