USA Health is Transforming Medicine along the Gulf Coast to care for the unique needs of our community.

USA Health is changing how medical care, education and research impact the health of people who live in Mobile and the surrounding area. Our team of doctors, advanced care providers, nurses, therapists and researchers provide the region's most advanced medicine at multiple facilities, campuses, clinics and classrooms. We offer patients convenient access to innovative treatments and advancements that improve the health and overall wellbeing of our community.

As part of efforts to expand its scholarly and clinical activities, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine is currently seeking candidates for a faculty position in Pediatric Nephrology.

Duties include patient care at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital, the primary referral center for the region, and teaching medical students and residents. Candidates should have completed fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology. The successful candidate will interact with an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals, dealing with a broad range of kidney disease. Unique opportunities for program development, clinical research, and scholarly interactions with other state and local programs are also available. Level of appointment is open and will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic productivity. We offer highly competitive compensation and benefits. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a congenial, diverse, expanding department that is committed to providing its faculty with the opportunity to achieve academic and professional growth while enjoying the climate, affordability, and high quality of life of the central Gulf Coast.
