Job Summary:

Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy.  Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.

The Lansing Community College Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Program, seeks highly experienced adjunct faculty able to teach courses and labs that will provide students with a working knowledge of the latest in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, mechanical code, direct digital controls, sheet metal fabrication and other skills needed to compete in the industry. Teaching assignments may include daytime and/or evening hours.


Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.


Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.






Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in the field of study and two (2) years of successful experience in the field; OR Associate's Degree in the field of study and five (5) years of successful experience in the field; OR State of Michigan Mechanical Contractors License and six (6) years of successful experience in the field; OR Post-Secondary Certificate in the field of study and six (6) years of successful experience in the field; OR seven (7) years of successful experience in the field with a recognized industry certification.

EPA Section 608 Certification with Type 1 and 2 endorsements
