Job Description

Ponca City is seeking a part time employee to oversee and coordinate performances in the Concert Hall.

Reports to:                      High School Principal/Instrumental Music Coordinator


 


Supervises:                     Students participating in Music Programs


 


Qualifications:               High School Diploma or GED


                                          Experience in Coordinating and Scheduling


                                          Highly Organized


 


Job Goal:                         Coordinate events at the PCPS Concert Hall


 


Employment Terms:    Part Time/Hourly


 


FLSA Classification:     Non-Exempt


 


Evaluation:                     Annually by H.S. Principal

                                          Regular Requirements: Stand for extended periods; run, walk, jump; twist at the neck and trunk; bend at the waist; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 50 pounds


 


                                          Occasional Requirements: Ability to administer CPR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


 



  1. Ensures efficient management and scheduling of the Concert Hall.

  2. Attends all music events at the Concert Hall.

  3. Works with Instrumental Music Coordinator to schedule, prepare, and manage events at Concert Hall.

  4. Coordinates the following performance day operations

  5. Opening of the Building

  6. Preparing audio/video equipment

  7. Monitoring of audio/video equipment

  8. Closing of the building after the performance.

  9. Coordinate with Music Director and assist as needed

  10. Conducts an annual inventory.

  11. Operate audio/visual equipment and prepare audio/visual equipment for performances and events.

  12. Supervise custodial duties associated with the Concert Hall.

  13. Ensure Concert Hall regulations are followed by patrons.

  14. Regularly participates in appropriate professional development opportunities.

  15. Utilizes professional behavior in all school related interactions.

  16. Complies with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.

  17. Performs all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
