Your mission is to execute CE Tech Ops strategy to drive and sustain manufacturing optimization (Safety, Quality, Cost), support Growth and transform operations to be future ready, while managing a team to develop technical expertise and leadership
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Technical Expertise Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing technical Process engineer with precision and adherence to process standards
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in technical skills and operational efficiency
- Actively deployed technical training document (MDI) to rebuild manufacturing capabilities
Execution of Strategy and Priorities:
- Execute operational tasks in alignment with the strategic direction
- Ensure alignment of team goals, prioritize and oversee the execution of key projects (Timing and Deliverables)
- Implement new technologies and scale up to simplify plant in collaboration with global Tech Ops
Project Management:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of technical projects within established timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery to success outcomes
- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:
- Partner closely with Production and plant Managers to define, track and address operational needs with an impact on safety, product quality, cost, efficiency
- Proactively identify and address operational challenges within the technical operations scope
- Implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance
Best Practices Adherence :
- Ensure strict adherence and sustain standards for operational excellence, quality and safety
- Continuously evaluate (BOP audit, line diagnostic, ECC) to align with McCain standards
Qualifications:
- +5 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering
- Experience: Manufacturing, Maintenance, R&D, Technical Operations, Process technology, Data Analytics, Data Integration, Programing, Packaging
- Strong technical aptitude, mechanical/electrical engineering, and/or plant automation
- Processing line equipment and processes
- English is required and Dutch is preferred
- Autonomous, agile, accountable, data driving, problem-solving
- Principles of how to train people
- Project management & presentation
- Lean manufacturing or six sigma is a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Statistical analysis
