Ultrasound Technician (PRN)


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PRN Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety

- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for interpretation

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation of procedures

- Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment

- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and confidentiality policies

- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)

- Proven experience in performing ultrasound procedures

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent communication and patient care skills

- Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling

- Attention to detail and accuracy in image capturing and documentation

- Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedure

- Must have completed an AMA approved program in Radiology with a degree or equivalent, or an AMA approved program in ultrasound and have a minimum of 1 years' experience and registered in specialty division of Ultrasound.
