Job Summary
This position is responsible for development and implementation of purchasing strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and tracking of supplier performance. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain management and best practices.
About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role be the senior/lead buyer for the procurement group, and will help to manage relationships with key suppliers and address purchasing needs large and small as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing actions based on forecast, development, backlog or business needs. PO management and vendor management, especially with key suppliers and CMs.
Required Qualifications
Minimum five years experience in hands-on procurement in an OEM environment, management of CMs, strong understanding of working with CMs and what to look and watch for; experience with and comfort in a small-company/start-up environment. Strong understanding of best practices in procurement and supply chain.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000-$130,000
