Vishay Dimona is currently seeking applicants for an Air Condition Student. You will support the site’s utilities and HVAC activities by assisting with routine inspections, preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and documentation—helping ensure safe, reliable operation of infrastructure that enables production.

Job Location:

Dimona is located in Southern Israel in the Negev, not far from the Dead Sea area, the lowest point on earth.

The factory in Dimona was established in 1986 and has over 1,000 employees.

What you will be doing:

  • Support daily operation and monitoring of infrastructure and HVAC including basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities (inspections, lubrication, filter replacement, belt checks, etc.) according to the maintenance plan.
  • Help analyze equipment faults and participate in corrective actions under supervision of the infrastructure team.
  • Maintain documentation and computerized maintenance records including work orders, checklists, and reports.
  • Work according to site procedures and EHS requirements, including safe work permits and PPE usage.
  • Collaborate with technicians, electricians, and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and reliable utilities supply.

What you will bring along:

  • Currently pursuing a Practical Engineer study in Mechanical/HVAC - student status required.
  • Available to work part-time (2–3 days per week), with flexibility during semester breaks.
  • Basic technical understanding of HVAC, pumps, compressors, piping, and mechanical systems.
  • MS Office - ability to learn and update maintenance systems and technical documentation.
  • Strong safety mindset and willingness to work according to EHS procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with maintenance and production teams.
