Job description
- This is a field-based leadership role (extensive travel required within the U.S)
- Serves as the national clinical lead and subject matter expert for the system
- Provides hands-on clinical support during surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and products are available and functioning properly
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of Clinical Specialists across regions
- Oversees and standardizes clinical best practices, case support, and customer engagement strategies nationwide
- Designs, implements, and manages comprehensive education and training programs for internal teams and external customers
- Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical and clinical applications of the system
- Develops training materials, clinical protocols, and educational resources to support product adoption and utilization
- Provides advanced troubleshooting and high-level customer support in complex clinical situations
- Acts as escalation point for technical and clinical inquiries from customers and internal teams
- Maintains expert-level knowledge of competitor products and industry trends
- Collaborates cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to support product launches and clinical strategy
- Ensures compliance with all quality systems, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements and skills
- Associate degree with a minimum 6+ years of clinical or medical sales experience;
or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of clinical or medical sales experience. - Preferably majored in health-care related field.
- Proven experience in clinical specialist, scrub technician, RN, or medical device clinical support role.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in Neurosurgery.
- Strong operating room experience with deep understanding of sterile protocols required.
- Experience with image-guided systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive adoption at a national level.
- Strong organization skills.
