The Corporate Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue by securing corporate events, group outings, and park buyouts that deliver unforgettable experiences. This role builds strong relationships with corporate clients, develops customized packages, and identifies new business opportunities to grow attendance and revenue. Working cross-functionally with operations, catering, and marketing teams, the specialist ensures seamless execution of events from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. With a focus on results and guest satisfaction, this role helps position the park as a premier destination for corporate entertainment and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Power the Park with Corporate Energy Prospect, pitch, and close corporate events, company outings, and full or partial park buyouts-bringing high-impact groups in to experience the thrill.
- Design One-of-a-Kind Event Experiences Create unforgettable corporate packages that go beyond admission-featuring catered meals, private event spaces, VIP seating, and exclusive park perks tailored to each client.
- Own the Experience from First Call to Final Ride Guide clients through every step of the journey-from initial inquiry and proposal to execution-ensuring a seamless, stress-free, and exciting planning process.
- Be the Go-To Event Expert Build strong relationships with corporate planners, HR leaders, and decision-makers, becoming their trusted partner for memorable, high-energy events.
- Bring the Park to Life in Every Pitch Deliver dynamic presentations (in-person and virtual) that showcase the park's rides, attractions, and event capabilities-turning interest into booked events.
- Make Every Event Run Like a Headliner Attraction Partner with F&B, operations, and guest services teams to coordinate and deliver standout event experiences.
- Drive Revenue with Enthusiasm and Strategy Meet and exceed sales goals by building a strong pipeline, closing new business, and upselling premium add-ons that elevate the guest experience.
- Keep the Details on Track Behind the Scenes Manage proposals, contracts, pricing, and billing with accuracy-ensuring every detail is handled efficiently.
- Stay Ahead of the Excitement Curve Keep up with new attractions, seasonal events, and promotions to continuously offer fresh, compelling experiences to corporate clients.
- Be There When the Big Day Arrives Support key events and buyouts as needed, ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests have an exceptional experience from start to finish.
- Turn Great Events into Long-Term Partnerships Follow up after events, gather feedback, and build lasting relationships that bring corporate clients back again and again.
Compensation: $60,000 plus commission structure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, tourism, or event sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Experience in corporate sales, group sales, or event planning, including buyouts, meetings, and catered events
- Strong prospecting and business development skills, with the ability to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
- Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset focused on delivering exceptional client experiences
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, timelines, and event details simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, catering, and marketing teams to execute successful events
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for client events and park operations
Performance Metrics
- Revenue Generation ๐ฐ Total corporate sales revenue vs. target; growth in year-over-year revenue
