Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Retoucher skilled in CPG and food photography, who can enhance product shots to showcase every detail with clarity and appeal. The ideal candidate knows how to retouch for food across all types and textures, and color consistency, ensuring products look pristine and ready for both online and print media. You’ll collaborate with our photographers and creative team to produce images that reflect the brand’s vision and style.
Responsibilities:
- Retouch CPG images with precision, focusing on color correction, removing imperfections, enhancing textures, and ensuring label readability.
- Work closely with photographers and design directors to understand brand guidelines and specific project aesthetics.
- Ensure consistency in lighting, color, and tone across all images for each brand.
- Organize, manage, and save files according to studio protocols, ensuring proper version control.
- Deliver retouched images on schedule, balancing speed and quality to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of retouching experience in CPG or product photography.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; familiarity with Capture One is a plus.
- Proven experience retouching food for CPG.
- Strong understanding of color management, product lighting, and text clarity.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to enhance textures and create a premium look for packaging.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team, incorporating feedback to align with brand standards.
