Essex Industries is a multi-site aerospace and defense manufacturer serving military and commercial customers worldwide, currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator/Material Handler responsible for selecting, counting, weighing, delivering materials, and checking and recording parts.
Essential Duties:
- Select, count and deliver materials to manufacturing or shipping areas in accordance with Material Department procedures.
- Weight to confirm correct delivery
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed.
- Assist checking in and storing materials as received from manufacturing and receiving areas as needed
- Check in and receive deliveries into receiving area as required.
- Inspect and verify incoming deliveries for correct address, number of packages, and condition, and note discrepancies on paperwork before signing.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Operate Pallet Jack
- Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent and three months to 1-3 months of experience on the job.
