Job Description

Ignite is currently seeking driven, detail-oriented Engineers to join our team supporting NOVASTAR, in Dayton, OH. These positions are expected to be onsite.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

· Design and implement new capabilities

· Resolve issues found in existing code

· Integrate capabilities with external services and tools

· Participate in code reviews and mentor team members

· Communicate status and technical details with customer

 

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in STEM

· Ability to communicate technical details of work

· Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project

· Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills

· Experience with RESTful web services

· Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python

· Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular, React, and/or Vue

· Experience with version control software (ex Git)

· Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Kubernetes / HELM

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins

· Experience with Docker (containerized deployment)

· Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB

· Secret Security Clearance or higher

 

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

 

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.

 

Other Requirements:

Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance
