Job Description

Serves food, beverages and exceeds guests expectations in a friendly, engaged, courteous and timely manner following the Ten Basic Service Steps. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Greets guests within 30 seconds, answers question, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks and anticipates customer’s needs. 
  2. Delivers food and drinks to guests using a team deliver system. 
  3. Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere. 
  4. Relays orders accurately to service kitchen via the point—of—sale computerized register system. 
  5. Observes guest’s, anticipates needs and responds to all additional requests. 
  6. Pre buses tables and provides timely drink refills. 
  7. Presents guest check to each table and accepts a form of payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure. 
  8. Pre-bus all tables prior to guest leaving. 
  9. A participating member of the team by running food, pre-busing tables, seating customers, refilling beverages and cleaning as they go. 
  10. Maintains the overall cleanliness of the dining room/expo areas. 
  11. Performs table station maintenance throughout shift and completion of assigned set up, running, daily and closing duties. 

MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Read, write and speak English fluently. 
  2. Neat, well-groomed appearance. 
  3. Average manual dexterity. 
  4. Pleasing personality and demeanor. 
  5. Able to work at a rapid pace for an extended time period. 
  6. Must be able to work an agreed upon schedule. 
  7. Good memory skills in name recognition and personal order preferences. 
  8. Walks, stands, bends, reaches and lifts on an ongoing basis. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  •   Arrive at work station on time, in proper attire with a positive attitude. 
  •   Meets or exceeds performance standards. 
    • A Team player.
    • Demonstrates multi—tasking. 
  • Complies with government Statues and Company policies. 
  • Maintains a safe work environment. 
  • Any other duties requested 

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED: 

  • Successful completion of a five-day training program. 

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED: 

  • Food Handlers and Food Allergy Awareness 

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Answering the telephone. 
  • Rolling silverware 

NON-MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Work experience in service related industry.
