5th Grade Teaching Position

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a valid teaching certificate (Elementary Education or appropriate grade-level endorsement)

• Demonstration of a strong knowledge of subject area being taught.
• Checking for and building of higher-level understanding in students.
• Efficient and effective use of instructional time.
• Establishment and maintenance of strong, appropriate, relationships with students and families.
• Maintenance of exceptional classroom management.
• Planning for and delivery of rigorous content.
• Utilize technology (as appropriate) to support instruction.
• Must be willing to apply knowledge and principles of the developmental nature of young children:
