What You’ll Do
Provide clinical nutrition oversight, guidance, and support to Dietary Managers and center-level dietitians across assigned locations
Ensure nutrition care plans are developed, implemented, and updated in accordance with resident needs and regulatory requirements
Conduct routine audits of dietary operations to ensure compliance with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations
Review menus, recipes, and meal service practices to promote nutritional adequacy, resident satisfaction, and cost efficiency
Serve as a consultant to center leadership and interdisciplinary teams on dietary concerns, special diets, and nutrition management
Support survey readiness, attend entrance and exit conferences as needed, and assist with dietary plans of correction
Provide education, training, and ongoing support to dietary teams on nutrition standards, documentation, and regulatory updates
Monitor quality assurance indicators and assist in developing performance improvement plans for dietary services
Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to support weight management, hydration, and overall nutritional outcomes
Stay current on industry standards, dietary guidelines, and best practices in long-term care nutrition
Support new center openings, acquisitions, or transitions by assessing dietary operations and assisting with onboarding
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Vice President of Clinical Services or Regional Leadership
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Licensed Dietitian in applicable states, or ability to obtain licensure as required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in long-term care or healthcare nutrition services
At least one (1) year of multi-site or leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and dietary compliance standards
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
