We have an exciting opportunity for a Concierge Officer to join our team at Leaside Lock, a vibrant development of 965 homes offering a blend of Shared Ownership, Affordable Rent, and Outright Sale options, with 50% designated as affordable housing.
This is a full-time, permanent role working a 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern (7am–7pm). As the service operates 365 days a year; shifts will include weekends, along with bank and festive holidays.
Reporting to the Estate Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and efficient service, ensuring a clean, safe and secure environment for residents across the development.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering a first-class customer experience and responding promptly to resident queries
- Managing incoming post and parcels, including logging and distribution
- Conducting regular patrols of the buildings and car parks, including external litter picking
- Responding to repair requests and issuing keys to contractors
- Investigating alarms and carrying out routine safety and lighting checks
- Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting any faults or concerns
About you
As a resident-focused organisation, we value how we deliver our services just as much as what we deliver. The ideal candidate will be an experienced concierge with strong customer service skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience working in a customer-facing, service delivery environment
- Experience of working with Dwellant
- Knowledge of handling customer feedback effectively
- Understanding of health and safety requirements in a residential or similar setting
- Good IT skills, including experience with CCTV systems
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A collaborative approach and flexibility in your work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Due to the 7am start time, we are looking for candidates who can reliably commute to site; therefore, this role may be best suited to those based within a reasonable travel distance to Bromley-by-bow.
