Supply Technician
Serves as the Joint Base San Antonio Mission Training Complex Supply Technician, responsible for planning and executing all supply operations in support of the Mission Training Complex. Assists the Government in maintaining property accountability of all accountable and durable equipment and supplies. Receives and accounts for new equipment and supplies and ensures they are properly sub-hand receipted to the appropriate end-user. Coordinates and tracks the turn-in of old or unserviceable equipment and ensures turned-in equipment is removed from the property book.
Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Qualification and Certifications)
· Possess an Associate's Degree, or substitute two years of relevant experience.
· Possess one (1) to three (3) years of US Army supply principles and policy experience; experience with US Government supply procedures, forms and regulations.
· Must be familiar with the principles of purchasing, handling, accountability and transportation of material and other property.
· Must be familiar with the development of logistics and supply concepts, policy and processes; especially in the area of inventory control and hand receipts.
· Experience in conducting cyclical and annual inventories.
· Experience in using automated tools to conduct inventories and maintain supply accountability.
Additional Job Requirements
· Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Possess a Secret clearance.
· Must be able to lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 70 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 40 pounds
Desired (not required) Job Requirements
· Former Soldier with prior military occupational skill (MOS) 92A is preferred but not required
