Private assets continue to play a growing role in institutional portfolios. Investors require transparency across the investment lifecycle. MSCI provides an integrated view of private capital portfolios through analytics, benchmarking and decision-support tools that enable clients to evaluate funds by vintage, asset class, geography and other dimensions.
We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our team in Paris, focused on institutional investors and family offices. This role combines new business development with relationship management, connecting clients to MSCI’s private capital capabilities and broader solutions.
- Drive new business growth by identifying, engaging and converting prospective clients
- Build and develop strategic account plans across assigned territories and client segments
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through ongoing engagement and cross-sell opportunities
- Lead client conversations, including product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations and contract execution
- Develop a strong pipeline across countries and industry segments
- Represent MSCI in client meetings and industry events to strengthen market presence
- Collaborate with Product, Research, Client Service, Legal and Sales Operations teams to deliver client outcomes
- Capture and share client feedback to inform product development and commercial strategy
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activity and forecasts
- 1-3 years of experience in institutional sales, with a track record of achieving revenue targets
- Strong understanding of financial markets and private capital investing
- Experience engaging institutional investors such as asset managers, asset owners or family offices
- Demonstrated ability to originate and close new business opportunities
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across functions
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Fluency in English and French required
