This is a full-cycle recruiting contract position. The 6 month contract has the opportunity to extend based on hiring needs.

Job Title:  Contract Recruiter (6 months) 

Location: West Coast Based (Remote)

Reports to:  Chief Executive Officer

This is a part-time 6-month contract position with the potential to extend based on business needs. This role is a West Coast based virtual position, with preference for the Bay Area.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage full cycle recruiting for complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagements to hire the best talent for open roles 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans, analyze requirements to determine and create target candidate profile 
  • Conduct hiring intake calls to generate position requirements, collaborate closely with CEO & hiring team to meet hiring needs/goals and promote/educate team on hiring best practices including diversity & inclusion strategies 
  • Manage ongoing pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, interpret data to help influence hiring decisions 
  • Screen candidates, generate candidate debriefs, coordinate interviews, facilitate hiring debriefs 
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and communication 
  • Facilitate and drive the offer process, including salary negotiations, offer letters, closing candidates, and post hiring activities 
  • Differentiate required skills for multiple roles, manage overlapping candidates as appropriate 
  • Establish and standardize hiring processes, including structured interviewing, interview best practices and candidate experience drivers
  • Adapt sourcing techniques to ensure quality candidates and healthy pipelines, making tooling recommendations as needed
  • Review existing job descriptions and interview structures to make recommendations that drive clarity, efficiency and candidate experience
  • Create and conduct virtual interview training for all identified interviewers
  • Partner with CEO, hiring managers and other VideoLabs colleagues to identify, develop and maintain programs and systems that contribute to our strong company culture and employee satisfaction 


QUALIFICATIONS 


  • 5+ years demonstrated experience sourcing for senior legal / intellectual property licensing roles is a requirement 
  • Experience in strategic influencing and driving results at the executive level
  • Demonstrated record of sourcing, creating and engaging in complex diversity and inclusion hiring strategies 
  • Proactive, self-directed, detail oriented with the ability to adapt to change or modify approach 
  • Experience working in a start-up in the technology space preferred 
  • Prior experience operating in the legal/intellectual property space preferred 
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills 
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on discretion 
  • Adaptability and the ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations 
  • A profound commitment to safeguarding confidential information
