Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

·         Create work plans for Bucking.

·         Schedule transportation of product accordingly.

·         Supervise production goals.

·         Assure climate controls are set to desired settings.

·         Knowledge of equipment in the Bucking Department. (Mobius, Twister, Sorter)

·         Communicate issues with equipment with Bucking Manager

·         Maintain quality specs for all areas.

·         Understand data reporting and analyze data.

·         Be able to communicate effectively with other departments.

·         Be able to guide leads in production and quality.

·         Be able to communicate via email and create reports in excel.

·         Participate in continuous improvement of processes.

·         Be able to delegate tasks effectively.

·         21+ years old

·         2-3 years’ experience in cannabis.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·         Make quick decisions.

·         Flexible availability for work hours

·         Ability to maintain a positive attitude.

·         Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

·         Required prioritization and multi-tasking

·         Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office and Excel)

Education and/or Experience:

·         2-3 years’ experience in cannabis.

Physical Requirements

·         Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Language Skills

·         English/Spanish Preferred

Reasoning Ability

·         Be able to delegate tasks appropriately.

·         Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the Bucking Supervisor will be required to regularly walk, sit and stand; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; reach with hands; and operate a computer and a tablet. Some lifting is required to place products or waste on scales.

Summary

The Bucking Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all operations in the Bucking department. They will provide leadership and guidance to the bucking leads and employees. They must delegate job duties appropriately to complete the day-to-day movements and data entries in bucking. They will also assist with making and updating the bucking schedule.
