Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Certification: A valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate (Level 1, 2, or 3)
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in business education, business administration, or a related field is required.
• Content Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Louisiana Student Standards related to the specific business class and curriculum implementation. Inclusive of Students must understand and apply basic accounting principles, utilize technology in business, and development entrepreneurship skills.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience is often preferred, with some positions specifically requesting five years in business education.
• Skills: Strong communication (written and oral), classroom management and ability to use data driven instruction.
