Description
Distribution Operations Specialist (DOS) is responsible for addressing new and existing employee operational development needs that promote efficiency, accountability, and improvement of all skills associated with each position. Specifically, the DOS position works with the business leaders and is responsible for developing and delivering in-person and virtual programs targeted at filling operational needs. The DOS is also responsible for assisting HR in various phases of the performance management process and safety compliance.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Responsible for training new and existing distribution employees in all operational areas.
Flexibility to schedule and deliver programs to a wide audience.
Design, conduct and evaluate operational training programs.
Develop and manage measurement systems (e.g., DART, interviews, skills).
Build productive relationships across the organization and access subject matter experts as needed in the development and delivery of specific operational programs.
Develop standard operating procedures, job aids or other solutions to facilitate learning, adoption and compliance with operational processes.
Contribute to operational growth projects through training and process improvement.
Assist HR to ensure records regarding employee operational training and development are maintained within each employee’s personnel record.
Assist in identifying internal talent for growth opportunities.
Assist in providing safety training, audits, monitoring, and reporting to ensure compliance.

Overnight shifts, including weekends

Extended and extensive travel required throughout PCF entire distribution network

Requires a minimum of 10 or more years related work experience
