The Opportunity:  CNC Machinist 

Your Role: The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills. You will set up, operate, and manufacture products according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements. 

Responsibilities Included

  • Perform dimensional inspections on both in-process and finished machined parts and products using measurement techniques and equipment. 
  • Inspect weldments and fabricated products
  • Inspect the finished product (painting and powder coat)
  • Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Use experience with common metrology tools including calipers, and micrometers to measure parts.
  • CMM programming as needed. 
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Reports To: Machining Manager

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in a machine shop environment
  • 3+ years experience working with mill machines  
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates in Precision Machining
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC milling with FANUC controls, MAZAK, or similar
  • Experience in horizontal mill machines

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00 per hour.
