Job Description

Description

  

This position is a full time, clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
  • Consistently demonstrate a professional, empathetic, service-oriented delivery of healthcare to patients and their families
  • Performing modalities such as applying hot pack, cold pack, e-stim, US, etc. as instructed.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, as well as changing and laundering linens.
  • Performing administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
  • Ability to deliver clear and professional communication within the workplace to patients and staff.  
  • Performing therapeutic modalities and/or exercise while under the supervision of a licensed clinician according to ethical/legal guidelines while knowing the precautions and contraindications. 

Requirements

  

  • High school diploma 
  • Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
