The Practice Supervisor, provides leadership, direction, and support to practice staff to promote safe, high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. This role monitors staff performance, ensures adherence to policies and standards, and fosters a collaborative, professional environment. The supervisor supports onboarding, education, and performance improvement initiatives, while serving as a resource for patients, families, and staff in alignment with Shriners Children's mission, vision, and core values.
The pay range for this position is $29.96- $42.30hour. Compensation is determined by experience and department equity.
- Supervise orientation and ongoing education of new and current staff
- Facilitate staff meetings, huddles, and training sessions; ensure accurate communication of practice initiatives
- Develop staff schedules and assignments to ensure adequate coverage across practice(s)
- Ensure efficient daily clinic operations and a positive patient experience by supporting work-flow from check-in through departure and partnering with the Practice Manager to resolve operational and staffing issues
- Serve as a resource for staff and assists in resolving patient care issues
- Attend required meeting, in-services, and complete ongoing education, and competency training

Required:
- High School diploma / GED
- 2 Years Ambulatory/Physician Practice experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- PEARS (for CMA) required within 12 months
Preferred
- Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Management, Public Health or related field
- 1 Year Supervisor/Leadership /Clinic setting experience
- 2 Years Orthopedic/Pediatric experience
- EPIC experience
- Medical Assistant Certificate
