Group Trainer – Service Crew

Position Details:



  • Job Title: Group Trainer – Service Crew

  • Location: KCGM Operations

  • Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 7/7 12hr shifts

Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver training and assessments for safe, efficient underground service installation, maintenance, and repair in line with plans and safe working procedures.

  • Guide crews on service installation, task sequencing, quality, and safe work practices.

  • Provide practical training in ventilation, dewatering, pumping, and other infrastructure systems.

  • Identify hazards and improvement opportunities, promoting a strong safety culture.

  • Collaborate with supervisors to maintain accurate and compliant training materials and records.

  • Support training and operational needs across NSMS sites with flexible rosters.


 


 


Qualifications & Experience:



  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in underground service crew roles

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment - TAE40122 or equivalent (preferred, but not essential)

  • Experience in safe and efficient underground service installations

  • Experience with ventilation, dewatering, pumping, and infrastructure installation

  • Experienced in safely hanging and removing secondary ventilation fans.

  • Paste fill installation experience an advantage

  • Good communication and coaching skills
