This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, NY location.
Compensation: $80�$110/year, based on experience.
This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.
Position Summary:
This position provides hands-on technical support to engineering and manufacturing operations. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and assisting with design activities under the direction of senior engineering staff.
Work is performed based on established procedures, assigned tasks, and supervisory guidance.
This is an on-site role in our Bohemia, NY office. Occasional travel (<10%) may be required.
Work Authorization: U.S. Person or eligible for export license
Key Position Accountabilities:
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of circuits and assemblies
- Record data and prepare test reports and documentation
- Fabricate breadboards and prototype units using provided schematics
- Assist with parts procurement and material coordination
- Support preparation and updates of:
- Assembly drawings
- Bills of materials (BOMs)
- Schematics and layout drawings
- Create drawing packages for simple design updates using established guidelines
- Assist in designing simple circuits and test fixtures under supervision
- Follow defined plans, schedules, and work instructions for assigned tasks
- Perform software updates or maintenance as directed
Qualifications:
- Associate�s degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical training
- 1�2 years of relevant technical experience
- Exposure to:
- Circuit fabrication and prototyping
- Electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Basic AC/DC and semiconductor theory
- CAD tools and engineering software
- Working knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and applied engineering principles
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and schedules
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment & Supervision:
- Work is performed under direct or general supervision
- Tasks and priorities are assigned by engineering leadership
- Work involves routine technical problem-solving and execution of established methods
