🚀 We're Hiring: Junior Developer – Digital Solutions (Kigali, Rwanda)

About Us
PrimECS is a fast-growing infrastructure construction and engineering firm with operations in the U.S. and in Kigali. We tackle complex civil infrastructure projects — from roads to railroads — and support them with cutting-edge digital and operational systems. We’re expanding our Digital Solutions Team, and we’re looking for someone ready to jump in and own projects from day one.


The Role
As a Junior Developer, you’ll be tasked with designing and implementing custom digital tools, dashboards, automations, and tech workflows across our teams. You’ll work closely with operations and our administration leadership to build tools that make the business run smoother and smarter.

You will also assist with general IT solutions — including system integrations, troubleshooting platform issues, and recommending or implementing smarter tools for daily use.

This is a high-autonomy, high-responsibility role. You will scope, build, test, launch, and support tools with minimal supervision. We expect you to take initiative and deliver results.


What We're Looking For

✅ At least 1 year of hands-on experience building digital tools or automations with a known digital solutions company or startup
✅ Strong ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
✅ Proven experience managing projects from idea → deployment
✅ Passion for learning new industries and solving real business problems
✅ Comfort with both software development and basic IT support tasks


Bonus Points For

  • Experience with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., PowerApps, AppSheet, Airtable) or web dev (HTML/CSS/JS, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with business, financial, productivity, or HR platforms
  • Any construction, engineering, or project-based work experience (even if limited)
