SABG is hiring a full-time Strategic Planning Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL.
JOB TITLE: Strategic Planning Analyst (Intermediate)

REPORTS TO: AC Task Lead, PP&A Strategic Planning
FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
· Provide executive support by serving as the Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2) liaison to the MDA senior leadership for Advanced Capabilities (AC) Directorate.
· Receive, review, process and task all unclassified and classified external actions, to include Congressional inquiries, Freedom of Information Acts, CATMS, and Reply Directs, to the appropriate organization through the Agency suspense tracking systems ETMS2.
· Act as back-up to the AC Internal ETMS2 Liaison and assist as required. This includes creating and closing out tasks. Assist team with any questions or decisions regarding ETMS2.
· Ensure all incoming actions are assigned for processing in a timely manner. Govern suspense dates from external and internal sources. If the suspense date cannot be met, responsible for requesting or granting a timely extension.
· Monitor Command Group portal forecasting tool. Ensure staff actions are progressing and status is current.
· Maintain the AC organizational box and associated administrative changes in the Agency suspense tracking system.
· Review and edit documents for format, accuracy, content, clarity, classification, spelling, and administrative quality.
· Distribute approved/signed Congressional Correspondence Management Office (CCMO) Command Group correspondence to the originating organization, AC Front Office and staff liaison.
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft 365 and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· BA/BS and 3 years’ experience in administrative/business field; AA and 4 years’ experience in administrative/business field; or 10 years’ experience in administrative/business field.
· Possess 2+ years’ experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).
· Capable of executing day-to-day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
· Proficient in advanced analytical thinking; working in a teaming environment developing corporate strategies, goals and objectives and briefing recommendations to senior leaders.
· Experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities.
· Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
· Experience in government travel processes and systems.
· Proficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders.
· Proficient in classified correspondence handling procedures.
· Proficient in government task management systems.
· Experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations.
· Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, readahead).
· Experience working with government time-management procedures and systems.
· Demonstrated knowledge of record management processes.
· Must possess high levels of communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organization, and presentation skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
