POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Advanced Office Technologies (AOT) Manager, the Sales/Stock Delivery Person is responsible for receiving shipments, organizing products, and maintaining inventory accuracy all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction by interacting with customers to ensure their orders are processed accurately and efficiently and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
2. Performs store daily duties as needed to maintain operational demands.
3. Records and processes coupon credits and returns.

4.    Orders and maintains stock of popular products in store for sale to the general public while maintaining a clean and attractive display.

1. Distributes and tracks senior garbage bag to eligible Tribal members. 

6.    Responsible for the sale of all store product to the general public, ensuring recording through the appropriate POS system and/or the Tribal tax system.

1. Ensures all pricing, signage, and displays are updated at all times.
2. Ensures that all cash activity is in balance and reconciles in a timely manner.
3. Makes sure that all required daily and monthly paperwork is completed and submitted.
4. Other duties as assigned within the scope and complexity of this position’s essential functions.
5. Must attend all mandatory trainings designed by the Human Resources Department and/or Department Manager.
6. Verify and maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
7. Inspect shipments to ensure alignment with bills of invoices, orders, or other relevant records as well as unpack and thoroughly examine incoming shipments.
8. Prepare and package items for efficient shipment to other Bay Mills departments.
9. Deliver items promptly to all Tribal departments on a daily basis.
10. Make trips to local businesses to collect various ordered items.
11. Record and maintain accurate records of campground reservations for two campgrounds.
12. Ensure that all visitors adhere to campground rules and regulations by regularly inspecting campground areas to verify compliance with rules and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking and standing for extended periods of time are necessary to fulfill this position.  This position requires continuous pushing and pulling.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while occasionally liftings and/or carrying up to 60 pounds.  Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time.  Must be able to bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, and balance on a frequent basis.  The employee may be exposed to mark changes in temperature, dust, fumes, and/or gases.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1.    High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2.    Retail experience required.

3.    Must demonstrate the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends when required.

4.    Computer literacy required with the ability to use general office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, POS, inventory and accounting software.

5.    Must have a valid driver license and insurable without restrictions.

6.    The ideal candidate should demonstrate a personable and customer service-oriented attitude. Additionally, they must have strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

7.    Candidates are expected to present a well-groomed, professional appearance. They should also be proficient in speaking, understanding, and writing in the English language.

8.    Must have an excellent past work and attendance record.

9.    To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each function listed under the essential functions and physical demands categories of this position description.
