Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday (with rotating on-call responsibilities)
Salary Range: $72,500 – $77,500 annually, DOE
What You'll Do: The Impact You'll Make
As the Program Manager – Interim Housing, you will oversee daily program operations, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of safe, structured, and high-quality services aligned with Alcott’s mission and harm reduction philosophy.
Program Leadership and Staff Supervision
• Lead and supervise assigned staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations
• Maintain a structured and supportive residential environment through consistent oversight and delegation
• Facilitate staff meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training
• Partner with the Clinical Supervisor to support complex cases and promote trauma-informed care
• Develop and manage 24-hour staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
Program Operations and Compliance
• Oversee intakes, service planning, and continuity of care across programs and partner agencies
• Ensure compliance with contractual, funding, and program performance standards
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation and conduct regular audits
• Support budget oversight and submission of required program reports
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours guidance and support
Facility Oversight and Safety
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with standards
• Oversee emergency preparedness procedures, safety drills, and incident reporting
• Maintain a structured environment that supports client stabilization and recovery
Client Engagement and Service Coordination
• Support client-centered programming including life skills, wellness activities, and community integration
• Coordinate services with internal departments and external partners
• Promote dignity, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented practices in all program activities
What You'll Bring: Your Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum four years)
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in social services, housing, or behavioral health programs
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use challenges
• Strong knowledge of community resources and service coordination
• Experience with DHS or county-funded programs is a plus
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure program compliance

• Must successfully pass Live Scan fingerprint clearance and background check
• Valid California Driver’s License, clean driving record, and insurability
