We are currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our night shift Mining & Equipment team. The starting pay is $24.00 plus a $1.00 shift differential for working on night shift.

The Loader Operator operates a variety of heavy equipment and trucks used in supplying the plant with materials as needed.

Essential Job Duties

• Loads haul trucks, feeds wet and dry plants efficiently, keeps work area clean, roads smooth, and understands what material is being fed to plants.
• Operates haul trucks of various sizes in all locations on site.
• Operates trucks and construction or power equipment, such as dump truck, snowplow, telehandler and skid steers.
• Operates water tanker and similar equipment for dust control and dirt compaction.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor.
• Uses hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Demonstrates constant commitment to safety, professional behavior, and environmental considerations.
• Works cooperatively to comply with facility-wide environmental and quality management systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record Check (MVR).
• Must possess a valid WI driver license.
• Pre-employment physical must result in medical clearance to wear a respirator.
• Previous experience driving a haul truck strongly preferred.
• Good judgment is required.
• Must be adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• MSHA training and experience is also a plus.
