Job Description

Drink More Water, together we grow.

Here at waterdrop®, we make drinking more water fun, convenient and most importantly, sustainable! Discover the world of innovative and eco-friendly hydration solutions with our fruity little cubes – Microdrinks – that save up to 98% plastic compared to drinks in 500ml plastic bottles and help score one for the planet. Our centrally-located headquarters offers a vibrant environment, featuring an on-site restaurant and gym, not to mention the opportunity to connect with prospective colleagues from all over the world. With a successful online presence, 40+ stores around the world, dedicated B2B partners and over 22,000+ retail and branded stores, we can’t wait to take this journey to the next level – with you!

Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:

  • You will be responsible for driving the growth of the waterdrop® online store by steering acquisition strategy through Search & Display channels.

  • You lead and mentor a team of SEA & Display specialists, ensuring operational excellence, strategic alignment, and continuous performance improvement.

  • You own and drive the SEA & Display strategy, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver sustainable growth and strong ROI through data-driven decisions.

  • You lead performance analysis and forecasting, translating complex data into clear insights, strategic recommendations, and actionable roadmaps for stakeholders and leadership.

  • You define and oversee the experimentation and testing framework, prioritizing high-impact tests, ensuring learnings are scaled across markets and channels, and embedding a culture of continuous optimization within the team.

  • You identify growth opportunities through market, consumer, and channel insights, proactively shaping quarterly and annual plans for channel development and innovation.

  • You continuously improve operational excellence, streamlining processes, setting best practices, and improving collaboration and communication across Performance Marketing, Brand, Product, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams.

  • You act as the primary strategic point of contact for external partners (Google, Microsoft, agencies), driving alignment on strategy, innovation, and performance while ensuring accountability and value delivery.

Your strengths and qualifications:

  • You have a relevant academic background (e.g. Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar), combined with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Marketing/ SEA & Display, and E-commerce.

  • You bring proven experience leading or owning performance marketing initiatives, with responsibility for channel strategy, budget management, and performance outcomes in a complex, data-driven environment.

  • You demonstrate advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.

  • You possess an advanced understanding of analytics and measurement ecosystems, including tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, Google and Microsoft Ads platforms, with the ability to challenge data quality and attribution.

  • You show strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.

  • You have strong project management and prioritisation skills, able to balance strategic initiatives, ongoing performance, and team development in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are curious and passionate about digital marketing trends, automation, and innovation, combined with a pragmatic mindset focused on business impact.

  • You feel comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment, taking ownership, managing ambiguity, and driving clarity for the team.

What we offer you:

  • A high-achieving, international community of waterdrop® colleagues, located in a brand-new HQ in Vienna, Austria.

  • Development opportunities in one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in Europe.

  • MyClubs sports vouchers, to have a sporty balance.

  • In-house fitness centre.

  • In-house company doctor & Instahelp vouchers.

  • In-house restaurant with subsidized healthy meals, for a break with your colleagues.

  • Discount on your waterdrop purchases.

  • Coverage of your Transportation Card.

  • Legendary summer and Christmas parties!

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
