Experience:
- Coordinate the patient scheduling process to maximize production, while collaborating with clinical staff to ensure smooth incoming patient flow.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of current treatment plans and financial treatment options.
- Prepare and present financial treatment plans to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Follow up with patients regarding the doctor’s treatment plans and assist in scheduling appointments.
- Contact insurance companies to verify coverage and fee schedules, ensuring accurate insurance breakdowns.
- Present treatment fees and estimates, documenting financial arrangements and patient commitments to pay.
- Assist patients with insurance forms and ensure correct completion.
- Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional patient experience and assist with administrative duties as needed.
- Participate in emergency procedures, summoning medical assistance when required, and supporting team members as needed.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of dental terminology and practices.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with the general public, managing both patient concerns and inquiries.
- Must be flexible and possess forward-thinking abilities to anticipate patient and team needs.
- Must pass a background check, including criminal history, and driving history.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a dental office setting.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
