We are seeking a Director of Nursing who is passionate about resident-centered care and dedicated to developing, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of nurses. In this role, you will be backed by an experienced regional support team and a collaborative leadership environment.


Summary

The Director of Nursing leads, plans, organizes, and oversees all functions of the Nursing Services Department to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, organization, development, and direction of all clinical operations.

  • Support the development of comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans for each resident.

  • Assist with creating and managing departmental budgets, including staffing, equipment, and supply needs.

  • Respond decisively and effectively in urgent or emergency situations.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate nursing staff to achieve clinical excellence.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.

  • BSN preferred.

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in skilled nursing preferred; leadership experience in hospital or other healthcare settings will also be considered.

  • Strong knowledge of restorative and rehabilitative nursing practices, clinical procedures, and long-term care regulations.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and within the community.
