We are seeking a Director of Nursing who is passionate about resident-centered care and dedicated to developing, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of nurses. In this role, you will be backed by an experienced regional support team and a collaborative leadership environment.
Summary
The Director of Nursing leads, plans, organizes, and oversees all functions of the Nursing Services Department to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, organization, development, and direction of all clinical operations.
Support the development of comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans for each resident.
Assist with creating and managing departmental budgets, including staffing, equipment, and supply needs.
Respond decisively and effectively in urgent or emergency situations.
Lead, mentor, and motivate nursing staff to achieve clinical excellence.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
BSN preferred.
3+ years of supervisory experience in skilled nursing preferred; leadership experience in hospital or other healthcare settings will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of restorative and rehabilitative nursing practices, clinical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and within the community.
