You will join the global Procurement organization consisting of 120 colleagues across Europe, Bahrain, the UAE, and Hong Kong. On behalf of Arla’s global business, we manage procurement activities with an annual spend exceeding EUR 4 billion.
How you will make an impact
As a Student Assistant in Ingredients Procurement, you will play an active role in supporting Category Managers with data, processes, and cross-functional coordination. The role is hands-on and varied, offering strong exposure to how procurement operates in a global organization. You will be based in Viby J (Aarhus), while working with international stakeholders and suppliers across Arla’s global footprint. Examples of key responsibilities include:
Data, tools & process support
- You will help shape how procurement data is structured and used by working hands-on with master data, contingency mapping, and development of simple tools, dashboards, and reports. This provides direct exposure to how data supports supply resilience and commercial decision-making.
Supplier, Market & contract support
- You will work closely with Category Managers on real supplier and market topics, including supplier onboarding, price follow-ups, market insights, and contract processes.
- Over time, the role may also involve direct interaction with suppliers, giving you practical insight into supplier management and negotiations.
Tenders & cross-functional coordination
- You will support tenders and e-auctions and collaborate across procurement, supply planning, quality, and other functions, building strong stakeholder skills and a solid understanding of how complex procurement processes are executed in practice.

What will make you successful
We are looking for a structured, proactive and detail‑oriented Student Assistant who can support our team with high‑quality execution and a positive, can‑do attitude. Furthermore, you are:
- Comfortable working with data, systems, and multiple stakeholders.
- In the final years of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
- Experienced with Power BI - this is considered a strong advantage.
- Familiar with basic coding - this is a plus.
- Experienced with SAP - also an advantage.
