The Advanced Cleans and Slurry Technology (ACST) Business at Qnity Korea is a rapidly growing semiconductor materials business, continuously developing and scaling new products to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

We are seeking a Product Development Engineer (Open to New Graduates with Master’s Degree or Early‑Career Engineers) to join our Semiconductor Technology Development Engineering team in Korea. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in product scale‑up and process development within a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment where new products are continuously introduced.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, scaling, and continuously improving processes for intermediate and finished products, including metal purification and filtration processes, from lab scale through high‑volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and scale product processes from laboratory scale to high‑volume manufacturing

  • Design and continuously improve processes for intermediates and final products, including metal purification and filtration

  • Generate and analyze technical data in alignment with development and manufacturing requirements

  • Conduct laboratory experiments, data analysis, and thorough documentation of results

  • Apply DOE (Design of Experiments) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodologies to drive problem solving and process optimization

  • Actively participate in EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) programs to maintain a high standard of safety and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science

    • Master’s degree entry‑level candidates

    • Bachelor’s degree holders should have 2–3+ years of relevant industry experience

  • A thorough understanding of organic/inorganic and/or polymer chemistry as well as chemical engineering

  • Knowledge of mass transport phenomena is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects with varying deadlines and commitment

  • Good communication skills in English   

  • Prior experience in semiconductor, electronic materials, chemical, or polymer‑related industries is preferred

    Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a fast‑growing business environment
