Contributing in this role means
- Operating an overhead crane;
- Loading and unloading trucks;
- Stacking/Storage using safe techniques
- Grouping materials according to lists;
- Handling heavy machinery;
- Working in collaboration with shipping staff;
- Measuring and verifying oversized loads;
- Noting and reporting to the supervisor any defects in materials,
- tools and equipment, and protecting them from damage;
- Keeping your work area clean;
- Observing and applying safety rules;
- Following quality procedures, work instructions or company manufacturing standards;
- Any other related tasks.
Desired professional profile:
- Experience operating an overhead crane;
- Spoken and written languages: French and English (an asset);
- Manual dexterity;
- Good physical condition;
- Attention to detail, initiative and organizational skills;
- Teamwork;
