POSTION TITLE: ROLL FORM – BRACE OPERATOR



 



DEPARTMENT: Roll Forming



 



REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Production



 



HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm



*overtime available during high product demand times



 



HOURLY/SALARY STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt



 



POSITION OVERIVEW:



The Roll Form Operator is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of a Press machine through the administration of equipment, preventative maintenance and quality control while minimizing down time and ensuring safety. Unloading parts onto wagons, using strapping tools to strap loads for transport. Helping with loading of coils onto table and into die. Moving wagons out of the work area.



 



DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Set up and operate Roll Form lines/ Aida Presses

  • Operation of overhead hoist

  • Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment in accordance with 6S.

  • Organize production requirements

  • Maintain accurate counts

  • Understand and adhere to product acceptability and quality requirements

  • Accurate and consistent record keeping

  • Ability to obtain motorized equipment certifications/licenses

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:




  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience metal working and/or fabrication



 



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:




  • Lift, carry, push and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently

  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
